LOCATION & PARKING
The Queensland Cultural Centre Car Park (P2) is located directly underneath the Queensland Museum Kurilpa, offering convenient, direct access to the precinct.
Parking Details:
- Location: Underneath the Queensland Museum Kurilpa, within the Queensland Cultural Centre
- Operating Hours: 7am–midnight, Monday to Sunday
(Closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day) - Accessibility: Accessible parking spaces are available on the lower level of the car park
Alternative Parking:
Additional parking is available at the nearby South Bank Parklands Car Park, although the Cultural Centre car park is the closest option to the Museum.

Muse Space
A contemporary space with wooden floors and floor to ceiling glass to enjoy the sweeping views of the city. Ideal for dinners, weddings, product launches, breakfasts and cocktail events. Why not add on the Muse Terrace for an elevated view of the city for pre-dinner drinks? Alternatively, if you are looking for a unique museum addition, Lost Creatures is located adjacent and provides a great talking point for events.
Muse Terrace
Adjoining the Muse Space, this elevated, modern area features spectacular views overlooking Pyramid Plaza and the city. This under-cover, open-aired private space is popular for dinner functions, cocktail parties, lunches and breakfasts.
Upper Eastern Terrace
This outdoor space is located the main entrance of the Museum with a picturesque backdrop of the Brisbane City. It is the perfect space for your next cocktail event, dinner and other celebrations.
Whale Mall
With the sounds of the whales echoing high above, the Whale Mall is perfect for large scale dinners, cocktail parties and exhibitions.
